Principal

LeTashia is a native of Columbus, Mississippi.  She is a 1992 graduate of S.D. Lee High.  While in high school, she was voted into the Hall of Fame and National Honor Society.  She played trombone in the marching and symphonic bands.  LeTashia is also a 1996 summa cum laude graduate of Mississippi Valley State University where she recieved a B.S. in Political Science.  At MVSU, she was president of Pi Sigma Alpha- Political Science National Honor Scoiety, president of Pre-Law club, and a member a Mu Alpha Theta National Honor Society.  She was also a 1995 Ralphe Bunch Summer Institute Scholar where she studied at Spelman College and Emory University in Atlanta, Georgia.  LeTashia later went on to attend graduate school in at Mississippi State University where she received a MPPA (Master of Public Policy Administration) in Public Policy Administration in 1999.

LeTashia began her teaching career in 1999 with the Noxubee County School District at B.F. Liddell Middle School where she taught 7th and 8th history for eight years.  She also served as an Instructional Coach for one year.  In 2008 she completed the Mississippi Alternate Path to Quality School Leadership (MAPQSL)  Certification course through the Mississippi Department of Education. 

LeTashia began working in Holly Springs in 2009 at the Holly Springs Intermediate School. She served as Assistant Principal there until the 2011 -2012 school term.

Beginning the 2012 - 2013 school term, LeTashia was appointed principal of Holly Springs Junior High School.
